Job Description - Financial Accountant

Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client based on the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to add a Financial Accountant to the current team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global firm. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Key duties of the role include:

Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support statutory reporting requirements, including audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and control account analysis.
Partner with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Lead or support finance projects, including system enhancements and process improvements.

Experience required:

ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant with 3 years PQE.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work towards challenging deadlines.
Comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
