About the Job

This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong internal controls. Supporting the Financial Controller, you will ensure compliance with UK accounting standards while contributing to broader financial planning and analysis activities.

Duties will include:

• Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP

• Supporting annual audit processes and liaising with auditors

• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining documentation

• Overseeing compliance with internal financial policies and risk management frameworks

• Processing intercompany recharges, transfer pricing, and tax provisions

• Supporting cash flow forecasting and treasury activities

• Assisting with system improvements, including enhancements to Oracle Fusion ERP

• Partnering with business units to support budgeting and forecasting

• Driving process improvements and supporting ad hoc financial analysis

About the Successful Applicant

You will be a part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with solid experience in financial reporting, audit support, and reconciliations. A confident Excel user, you’ll have experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion ideal) and the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
