Financial Accountant

Atkinson Moss are looking for a Financial Accountant. This is a hybrid role and an opportunity to work for a globally recognised brand that prides itself on having an extremely rewarding culture.

You will be sitting in the finance team responsible for the financial accounting and external reporting, including the groups annual reporting and subsidiary financial statements.

Responsibilities will include:

Completion of the monthly IFRS 16 accounting including processing journals and reconciliation of account balances, ensuring accounting treatment of costs is appropriate and ensuring judgement areas are proactively highlighted to management;

Assist the Integration Accountant with review of completion accounts prepared by seller accountants in order to finalise and agree final consideration payments due to sellers;

Key understanding of technical areas which effect the group such as IFRS 16 and researching accounting under IFRS and preparing papers for technical committee review to ensure the Group is compliant with IFRS;

Ownership and reconciliation of technical areas on the balance sheet;

Technical calculations/models such as share based payments and hedge accounting;

Preparation of daily cash flow forecasting and support management of loan facility;

Assisting the wider finance team as required on any ad-hoc duties.
