Description

• Prepare and manage accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper reconciliation and journal entry postings.

• Produce timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is prepared and accurate.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and tax requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making.

• Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives to increase efficiency in reporting and compliance.

• Ensure accurate inventory accounting and cost analysis relevant to FMCG operations.

• Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and tax authorities as required.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and general ledger management. They should have experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the FMCG sector, and possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
