Financial Accountant

About the Company: Our client operating within the financial services sector is looking to hire an Financial Accountant into their growing team. This is an exciting time to join this business and offers lots of scope for development.

About the Role: Based in Ipswich, hybrid working. Salary ranging between £45,000-£60,000 plus benefits. Open to considering Part Qualified/ Qualified ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Accountants who have experience gained in an Financial Accounting based role preferably with financial services sector experience.

Responsibilities:

• Month end journals
• Revenue recognition
• Accruals / prepayments
• Bank reconciliations
• Support the financial planning/ forecasting process
• Support tax requirements
• Support year end statutory accounts production

Qualifications: You will be a natural communicator and want to engage across the finance team with senior leaders and wider teams outside of the finance department.

Required Skills: Strong Excel skills and as well as that drive to be part of something fresh.
