An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a respected organisation based in Warwickshire. Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing detailed financial analysis and insightful commentary on variances.
• Support the year-end audit process by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Monitor cash flow, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately within the general ledger.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including VAT returns, corporation tax submissions, and other regulatory filings as required.

What the successful candidate will bring

• Fully qualified accountant.
• Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS within a similar accounting or finance role.
• Excellent analytical abilities with proven skill in interpreting complex data sets and presenting clear findings to non-finance stakeholders.
