Financial Accountant

This is a newly created role which focuses on supporting financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance processes.

I'm currently partnering exclusively with an exciting and fast-growing PLC as they continue to expand both in the UK and internationally.

Description

• Take ownership of financial oversight for two US entities, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and year-end reporting.
• Support reporting activities for additional overseas legal entities as required.
• Assist in managing Group-level tax matters, ensuring compliance and supporting planning initiatives.
• Contribute to the preparation of the Group's half-year and year-end consolidations, as well as the annual report.
• Deliver accurate financial data to support the Group's business plan, statutory accounts, and strategic planning processes.
• Act as a trusted business partner to selected Head Office functions, providing financial insight and challenge.
• Lead and contribute to group-wide accounting projects, including process improvements and system implementations.
• Provide cross-functional support to Group Finance, UK Finance, and Commercial Finance teams where necessary.
• Offer coaching and support to junior members of the finance team, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.

Profile

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
