The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial reporting and compliance within the business. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with accounting expertise to ensure accurate records and support the business's financial health.

Description

• As the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:
• Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensure timely reporting of financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations.
• Monitor and improve financial controls and processes.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
• Analyse financial data to assist in decision-making and forecasting.
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations and oversee VAT submissions.
• Provide support to the wider Accounting & Finance team as required.

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A recognised qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
