Financial Accountant

Reporting into the Financial Reporting Manager and working closely with Business Partners across the organisation, you’ll be responsible for a mix of regulatory reporting, business partnering, and process improvement. What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

• Take ownership of the fixed asset register, lease accounting under IFRS 16, and monthly overhead reporting in collaboration with cost centre managers.
• Support the month-end process, including accruals, group reporting submissions, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Contribute to weekly financial summaries, forecasting, and payroll checks, working closely with business partners across the operation.
• Assist with annual budgeting, audit, tax analysis, and continuous process improvements to support wider business growth.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and month-end processes.
• Strong Excel skills, confident with finance systems, and comfortable handling data.
• Proactive and inquisitive, with a continuous improvement mindset and keen to develop professionally.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively and explain finance to non-finance stakeholders.
