Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities;

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts with commentary and insight.
• Lead on month-end and year-end close activities.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and wider business efficiency initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with teams across the organisation to support strategic growth.
