Financial Accountant

We are working with a well-established international professional services company based between Leeds and Bradford, who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their finance team.

The role offers 3 days WFH and a great range of benefits including 30 days holidays + stats.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing the balance sheet and financial accounting activities for both the UK parent company and an overseas subsidiary.
Leading and developing a team of three finance professionals.
Ensuring robust controls are in place and driving improvements to accounting processes and systems.
Delivering accurate and timely VAT returns and supporting other compliance-related tasks.
Producing insightful financial analysis to support senior stakeholders.
Supporting audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Experience working in a financial accounting role.
Solid understanding of balance sheet management and financial controls.
Strong analytical skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Experience managing or mentoring a team.
