Job Description - Financial Accountant

Broster Buchanan is proud to be partnering with a well-known media company in the search for a Financial Accountant. This is a great opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a collaborative team and take ownership of financial reporting across UK and European entities. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with IFRS.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular reconciliations (bank, payroll, accruals, cashflow).
Prepare monthly reports, including P&L and balance sheets, and support internal management reporting.
Contribute to internal management reporting, collaborating with departments to provide meaningful financial insights.
Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
Provide support on corporation tax data and VAT return preparation.

What We’re Looking For

ACA/ACCA qualified.
Solid knowledge of IFRS and UK reporting standards.
Experience preparing financial statements and working within compliance.
Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and Excel proficiency.
A proactive team player with a hands-on approach.
