Financial Accountant

I am thrilled to be partnering with a not-for-profit organisation who are looking for a Financial Accountant on a 15-month contract. Working closely with the Finance Director, this role is a pivotal position, overseeing all Financial Accounting activities and supporting the wider team.

- Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and records

- Perform VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations

- Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts

- Conduct financial consolidations for multiple entities

- Handle payroll functions and maintain accurate records

- Manage and report on both restrictive and non-restrictive funding

- CIMA/ ACCA Part Qualified, or hold a Qualified Accountancy certification

- Able to work and commit to a 15-month contract with the availability to start the assignment mid-September 2025

- Possess a strong understanding of VAT regulations and tax laws

- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis

- Experience with financial consolidations and understanding of payroll processing

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Hybrid working model with a mix of office and remote work

- 36 hours per week with flexible working hours
