Financial Accountant

Are you a technically astute Financial Accountant with a commercial edge and an eye for precision? We are seeking a talented and detail-driven professional to join our finance team and support the continued growth and success of our international operations.

This is a pivotal role reporting directly to the Finance Director, offering the opportunity to take ownership of group reporting, IFRS compliance, and the integrity of financial processes. You will also work closely with our German group company to drive intercompany alignment and contribute to the efficiency of group-wide finance functions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Collaborate with global group finance teams on intercompany reconciliations, accounting consistency, and group-level reporting.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Prepare year-end audit packs and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support VAT and corporation tax compliance in collaboration with external advisors.
• Identify and lead improvements in reporting systems, automation, and finance integration.

The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or at finalist level), bringing 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting or audit. They will possess a solid understanding of both IFRS and UK GAAP, complemented by excellent analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential, with the ability to work effectively across departments and international teams. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills are also key to succeeding in this role.
