Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Guildford Office (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience and location)

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant, you'll take a leading position in statutory and regulatory reporting, helping shape the future of external reporting and implementing new accounting standards across the Group. You'll work closely with auditors, deliver Solvency II regulatory returns, and play a key role in adapting to major IFRS and regulatory changes-a period offering both significant challenges and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on Group financial reporting activities.
• Prepare statutory accounts, including all disclosure notes, in line with accounting standards.
• Complete and submit Solvency II regulatory returns.
• Liaise with auditors regarding queries on statutory accounts and Solvency II returns.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and streamline reporting processes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
