Iconic Resourcing are delighted to bring a Financial Accountant opportunity as we are working closely with our International clients in Renfrewshire. This role will report into the Finance Manager and you will support 3 groups in the business and deliver accurate and timely results in the accounting and reporting team.

Duties and Responsibilities
The US GAAP end to end financials across a number of EMEA legal entities
Profit and loss account and balance sheet trends and variances
Review and approval activities at month end, including high risk journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
General ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepancies
Balance sheet deep dives and present outcomes to stakeholders
Point of contact for internal stakeholders
The timeliness of financial reporting for the EMEA region
Monthly business reviews with stakeholders
Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement) initiatives, including Gemba Walks, Just Do Its, Kaizen events, and daily Tier management
A variety of special projects as and when requested

Skills and Experience
Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA)
Able to organise and prioritise multiple complex situations
Accuracy is required in performing all aspects of the role
High level of proactivity to drive continuous improvement
Deep technical accounting expertise
Strong investigative, analytical and problem solving skills
Comfortable communicating with and presenting to various stakeholders
Solid understanding of US GAAP (Desired but not crucial)
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact at various levels inside and outside the organisation
Proficient in MS Excel
