As a part of their growth strategy, they are looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join their team.Why Them?They're currently expanding their horizons and are committed to long-term growth.The team is growing and this individual will be critical in driving value across the department.Your Role: Financial AccountantReason for role: GrowthThis is going to be best suited for a first-time mover from practice, looking to make a move into industryYou will play a pivotal role in steering the financial success of their team. Your responsibilities will encompass varied financial elements, ownership of the cash flow forecast, month-end, tax, and overseeing operations finance.Progressing the group reorganisation with BDO and legal advisers, preparing strike off documentation and posting relevant accounting journals.Key point of contact on treasury matters, liaising with operational banks, set up of new bank accounts, maintaining existing bank mandates etc.Assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accounts.Supporting analysis of monthly balance sheet and cash flow, including review of control account reconciliations, with the finance business partners.Working with tax advisors, BDO, to prepare and file annual tax returns.Support on acquisitions from a finance and tax perspective, inputting on pre-acquisition DD including corporation tax and VAT registrations post completion.Drive finance system improvements with a mindsight around improving efficiency and enabling the business to scale.What We're Looking For:The client is open to both practice and industry experience (ACA/ACCA)In-office presence 4 days per weekWhilst an extroverted personality is a plus, the company values a detailed orientated approach, coupled with credibility.Our process includes initial discussions, followed by a comprehensive session with a finance consultant and HR.We’re passionate about creating an inclusive workplace for our clients that promotes and values diversity.
