Harmonic are delighted to be partnered with a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their team in London.

Operating in the B2B SaaS space, their cutting-edge platform equips businesses with powerful communication tools that enable them to deliver real-time insights and meaningful information to their workforce. As leaders in this category, the business has earned the backing of a leading private equity firm known for supporting some of the most disruptive tech companies of the past decade.

The Role:

Reporting to the VP Finance, this is a hands-on role role where you'll take ownership of various financial reporting and audit tasks to support the finance department and wider business. As the business continues to scale with a high likelihood of future M&A activity, you will play a key role in driving growth and developing continuously developing the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing statutory accounts and leading the annual audit process.
• Managing group consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Overseeing UK Corporation Tax and US Income Tax compliance.
• Managing tax obligations across the UK, US, and other jurisdictions as required, including VAT, EU invoicing queries, and quarterly consumption tax reconciliations.
• Supporting R&D tax credit claims and transfer pricing compliance.
• Handling company insurance and registrations in new tax jurisdictions.
• Liaising with private equity stakeholders and supporting broader financial reporting requirements.
• Completing finance-related administrative tasks

What we need to see (Essential):

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA)
• Audit background
• Experience with statutory accounting
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
