Job Description - Financial Accountant (Hybrid)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role offers an attractive salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 with a 10% bonus and great hybrid working. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Head Office reporting, taxation for two legal entities, and assisting in the preparation of statutory reporting. What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will be at the heart of our client's financial operations:

  • Provide cover and support for the Financial Controller when required
  • Review all balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Assist in the projections reporting by providing timely actuals and commentaries
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure all month end close activities are completed in line with the timetable and HQ deadlines
  • Responsible for the production and reporting of IFRS 9 and bad debt reporting to Head Office
  • Report the buyback intercompany figures, liaising with Commercial Operations i
  • Be one of the main contacts for the external quarterly and annual audit requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role brings a wealth of relevant business knowledge from previous roles, along with strong tax and VAT experience. You will be ACCA or CIMA qualified. Your leadership skills will shine through in your ability to guide and support your team, while your expertise in Excel and finance house systems will enable you to manage data effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as is a keen eye for detail. Above all, we are looking for an efficient, organised and proactive individual who can deliver results.
