A Financial Analyst is required to support the accounting and finance department of a leading FMCG industry company based in Milton Keynes. The role involves financial planning, analysis, and projection for the company.

Description

Financial Analyst

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in a timely manner; identifying possible risks.
• Prepare and post journal entries, account analyses, and reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

Profile

A successful Financial Analyst should have:

• Studying toward ACCA or CIMA (Actively)
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software applications.
• Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
