Job Description - Financial Analyst

Our client seeks a Financial Analyst/Finance Business Partner for their manufacturing site near Peterborough.

Role responsibilities:

Financial analysis, including variance analysis to drive insight and improve operational performance.
Implement Cost Control measures & identify opportunities for cost optimisation across manufacturing processes
Support centralised reporting function with the preparation and analysis of the site weekly and monthly accounts.
Responsible for the costing of site products for new customers.
Monitor and report on inventory levels and ensure accuracy of the values.
Support production of budgets and forecasts
Provide key support to the site operations teams in terms of financial and commercial insights.

About you:
- Proven experience working as an accountant/analyst within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in food manufacturing desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in costing, analysis or Finance business partnering
