Job Description - Financial Analyst

Our Client

Our client is a respected membership organisation known for its heritage, innovation and commitment to excellence. The organisation plays a pivotal role in shaping standards and supporting its members in a wide range of activities. As part of it’s ongoing transformation, they are now seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join their collaborative FP&A team in central London.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic finance partner to key business units, delivering insight and challenge
Lead variance analysis across actuals, budgets, and forecasts, providing clear commentary
Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles with robust financial modelling
Prepare and enhance monthly management reporting packs, including KPIs and dashboards
Drive performance measurement and process improvement initiatives
Contribute to finance transformation and data automation projects
Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial understanding and decision-making
Support training and development of internal users on financial tools and reporting

About You

You’ll be a proactive and analytical finance professional with a passion for driving performance and adding value.

Key Requirements:

Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with MS D365 and BI tools is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders
Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and confident in a fast-paced environment

What’s On Offer?
