The Role

This position is performance-led and focused on the real-world application of financial theory. You will work directly with live market data to identify opportunities, execute trades, and manage risk in accordance with firm policies.

Core Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Apply technical and fundamental analysis to G10 foreign exchange, equity indices, and commodity markets
• Risk Governance: Adhere strictly to firm-defined risk limits and capital protection rules
• Trade Execution: Execute and support derivatives strategies, including futures and options
• Performance Reporting: Maintain comprehensive trading journals and produce regular performance and risk reports

Candidate Requirements

We prioritise discipline, structure, and analytical ability. Prior experience on a professional trading desk is not mandatory; however, candidates must demonstrate:

• Strong quantitative and analytical capability
• A solid understanding of financial markets and economic drivers
• The ability to operate within strict trading plans and risk frameworks

Note: Practical competency in financial derivatives and technical analysis is essential. Candidates without sufficient applied experience may be required to complete formal professional accreditation before managing firm capital.

What We Offer

• Base Salary: £45,800 per annum
• Visa Sponsorship: Proprietary Solutions is a UKVI-licensed sponsor and can provide Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship for eligible candidates
• Incentives: Uncapped, performance-based commission structure
• Working Arrangement: Monday to Friday with hybrid working options
