Where you come in

The Financial Analyst will provide critical day-to-day financial and analytical support. You will assist in internal and external financial reporting preparation, develop and maintain models and analyses, and provide cross-departmental financial support. As a detail-oriented and proactive individual, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the financial operations of the company.

This is a hybrid role based in the UK working out of our London office (3 days in-office, 2 days remote), and the successful candidate must have a valid right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. 

As a Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will be:

Reporting & Analysis

• Preparing weekly revenue reports and month-end financial packages, delivering timely and accurate insights into business performance for the leadership team


• Reviewing financial results against forecasts and budgets, providing clear, well-supported explanations of material variances with actionable commentary


• Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and operational metrics reporting, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure definitions and data sources are accurate and consistent

Planning & Forecasting

• Building and managing financial models to support annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, and long-range planning across the business


• Developing scenario and sensitivity analyses to stress-test assumptions and inform strategic decision-making


• Partnering cross-departmentally to gather inputs, align on assumptions, and translate operational plans into financial forecasts

Cash & Liquidity

• Supporting cash management activities, including monitoring cash flow, preparing rolling cash forecasts, and compiling liquidity-related reporting materials

Corporate Development & Ad Hoc

• Assist with corporate development activity, including financial analysis in support of M&A evaluation and responses to due diligence requests


• Serve as an analytical resource across the business, completing ad hoc financial analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives as they arise


• Contribute to ongoing improvements to FP&A processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure as the Finance function continues to scale

As a Financial Analyst, you will need: 

• 1 - 2 years' experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, audit or a similar analytical finance environment.


• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and the ability to manipulate and analyse financial data from multiple sources.


• Experience producing management information, KPI reporting or business performance analysis, with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations to finance and non-finance stakeholders.


• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting or financial modelling.


• Experience investigating and explaining variances between actual performance, budgets or forecasts.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with complex financial data.


• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.

As a Financial Analyst it would be great (but not essential) if you also have:

• Exposure to cash flow forecasting or cash management activities


• Exposure to corporate finance, M&A or due diligence activities would be useful.


• Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar business intelligence and data visualisation tools would be useful but not required.
