Overview
Sub Practice Leads are responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving our approach to service delivery for a select group of mediasense products. A sub practice lead owns “how” we deliver a service and ensures each product delivers measurable value, operates efficiently, and is consistently adopted across teams, markets, and clients.
The Role specifics
This role is for a Sub Practice Lead (Financial Compliance). This role will report to the Practice Lead - Media and Commercial.
The role itself will involve a range of activities including:
Practice Specific:
Our audit practice is built on rigorous financial analysis, contract review, and governance frameworks, delivering industry-leading compliance audits designed to provide the highest levels of governance to advertisers over their marketing spend and agency fees.
This role will oversee our financial compliance audits and third-party verification audits for media owners.
Methodology & Ways of Working:
Develop the approach and methodology to deliver the outcomes and deliverables committed to our clients through our products for a specific mediasene offering
Develop and manage the standard ways of working including processes, roles, work allocation, and role location strategy for select products
Owns and develops the capability (methods, people, ways of working, use of technology) used to create value through our products for our clients
Owns one or more products within a defined practice area, ensuring each is clear in purpose, consistent in execution, and delivering measurable results
Designs and documents the operational blueprint for each product (methodologies, processes, templates, KPIs).
Establishes best-practice guidance and delivery playbooks to ensure global consistency
Partners with Practice Leads to ensure the product portfolio supports the practice’s strategic direction
Service Management:
Oversees day-to-day delivery execution of services for their products across teams and regions
Manage the consistency of process/project execution while continuously evaluating opportunities for improvement
Tracks delivery efficiency across all accounts and adoption / compliance to ways of working for the sub practice in the workflow.
Collaborates with Project Leads to ensure work is delivered within client scopes and orchestrates resourcing needs for the sub practice
Manage the resource allocation of Project Leads across client projects
Lead, manage, and coach a team (or several teams) of Project Leads
Serves as the line manager for the Project Leads in their sub practice
Serves as the service delivery escalation point (above the Project Lead) for client service delivery issues
Oversee the quality of the work produced by the sub practice and its team members
Delivers select projects as a senior Project Lead, applying expertise to complex or high-value engagements as a “player coach”
Manage the chargeability/utilization of the direct team members (Project Leads) in their sub practice
Capability Enablement & Innovation:
Work with the Practice lead to support the evolution of our sub practice capability, identifying opportunities to improve value, efficiency, scale of our offerings by defining and managing a capability roadmap
Work with the Practice lead and client directors to monitor market changes and changes in client needs to identify changes in capability needed to serve our clients
Collaborates with and collects feedback from Client Solutions to ensure products are evolving to meet client needs
Leads periodic reviews of frameworks to ensure continual improvement and simplification
Works with the Practice Lead to define product roadmaps, value propositions, and success criteria
Prioritises development and evolution of products based on client needs, delivery performance, and strategic alignment
Builds product capability across the organisation through training, documentation, and onboarding
Leads internal enablement sessions to drive adoption, consistency, and quality
Establishes networks of product “champions” or “specialists” across teams
Partners closely with Technology & Innovation to enable and scale the service model by integrating automation, new tools, reporting, and data-driven insights into product workflows.
Leads enhancement and iteration cycles for technology enablement for their sub practice based on performance, feedback, and evolving client need
Embeds a culture of experimentation and feedback within the delivery teams using the products
Financial & Commercial Awareness:
Work with Practice Lead to manage chargeability, and utilisation of their teams
Work with Practice Leads to ensure adherence to scope for projects in their product area
Supports accurate forecasting and resource allocation
Monitors time-to-deliver and utilisation data to support decision-making
Develops effort estimating models to support solutioning and accurate cost estimation for new opportunities
Works with Practice Lead to reviews and approves service delivery solutions for new growth opportunities

Ability to connect client experience / value, process design, and operational efficiency
