Your new role

• Lead statutory reporting, tax returns, annual audits, and compliance with regulations.
• Implement and maintain consistent accounting policies and robust financial controls.
• Manage corporate reporting, month-end close, and highlight key risks and opportunities.
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and development.
• Optimise financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and enhanced reporting quality.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Improve project, capital expenditure, and inventory accounting processes.
• Lead cash flow monitoring, working capital reporting, and financing initiatives.
• Act as deputy to the Finance Director, as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified ACA, practice-trained accountant
• Sufficient years of experience in a financial control role, preferably within a high-growth, fast-paced, changing environment.
• Have leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
• Great relationship builder and can develop relationships both internally and externally
• Appetite to drive change across all aspects of the finance landscape, from both a team and system/process perspective.
