Financial Controller

We’re hiring a Financial Controller to take ownership of my clients finance function and lead a high-performing team.

About the Role

As Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for managing all core financial operations, delivering accurate and timely reports, and supporting strategic decisions through budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

You’ll be working closely with senior leadership, leading the finance team, and ensuring the smooth running of financial processes across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and detailed cash flow projections

• Producing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting reports)

• Leading the day-to-day finance operations and overseeing ledgers and journals

• Ensuring timely submission of statutory and internal reports

• Supporting strategic planning through financial modelling and commercial analysis

• Managing cash flow, VAT returns, and HMRC reporting

• Leading and developing the finance team

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• Strong experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role

• Confident in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management

• Skilled in financial modelling and analysis

• Experienced in leading and developing a finance team

• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel (ERP experience a plus)
