Financial Controller

This is an interesting position that requires previous experience in a similar position. Overview of responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following: 

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance function, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. 

• Managing and directing a high performing finance team in financial and management accounting processes impacting the P&L, cash flow and balance sheet alongside variance analysis. 

• Ensuring complete financial control is maintained across month end and year end, complying with all applicable GAAP/audit requirements. 

• Developing and maintaining timely, accurate, and insightful consolidated management accounts and reporting across multiple jurisdictions and currencies. 

• Managing external audits and liaising with auditors to deliver accurate and timely statutory accounts. 

• Implementing and enhancing processes and systems to improve financial operations and reporting efficiency. 

Do you fit this profile? 

• Educational background: A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with a minimum PQE of three years and a strong academic track record. 

• Professional experience: Industry experience in financial reporting and controls and preferably from a Big 4 background.  

• Leadership skills: Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams, with a focus on fostering a high-performance culture. 

• Scale-up experience: Experience in scaling finance functions within a rapidly growing or PE backed businesses is highly advantageous. 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

• Experience within the SaaS industry or recurring revenue model is highly desirable.
