Your new role
In your new role as Financial Controller you'll become the Lease Portfolio and IFRS16 Accounting specialist. This role is crucial for the update and maintenance of our extensive lease portfolio, ensuring accurate accounting adherence under IFRS16. This position focusses on leveraging extensive IFRS16 expertise to produce comprehensive financial analyses. The ideal candidate will use their career experience to enhance the current control environment and manage data maintenance for our IFRS16 database (Qube) as part of a larger ICFR program. Reporting into the Group Financial Reporting Director, the Financial Controller will operate as part of the Group Reporting function and will also provide ongoing support to Country Finance and the Group Property & Real Estate function. What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA qualified with a comprehensive understanding of IFRS16 accounting treatment. You will have experience in business partnering, financial reporting, and commercial analysis. The ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment, multitask, delve into details when necessary, and meet deadlines promptly is essential.
