Description

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organisation.
• Develop and execute financial strategies in alignment with the organisation's goals.
• Ensure financial compliance and risk management.
• Prepare financial reports for board meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Oversee the annual budgeting and planning process.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
• Mentor and lead a team of Finance Department staff.
• Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organisation.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven experience as Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
