Financial Controller

As the Financial Controller of our construction client you will manage the financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. You will be responsible for management reporting, ensuring accurate financial statements, and providing financial input for decision-making. Therefore, the role will give you a good blend of being in the day to day but also work on the strategic plan of the business. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver a range of financial reporting to senior stakeholders
• Developing and managing budgets for construction projects, forecasting financial performance, and tracking actual costs
• Cashflow management
• Mentor and develop the finance team beneath you
• Analyse a range of financial data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
• Provide input into various projects, business partnering with various divisions of the business
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations

Requirements:

• Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Must have significant residential or commercial construction experience
• Be able to evidence a strong reporting background
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communicator that can influence at all levels
