Financial Controller

This small family office in the Property sector in NW London, with a £100m portfolio of residential and commercial assets, is seeking a Financial Controller / Head of Finance for a hands-on role.

This Financial Controller / Head of Finance role will include:

• Report to the MD and liaise with the owners
• Oversee one part time bookkeeper / ledger clerk
• Preparing statutory accounts for various entities/SPVs
• Corporation tax returns and family tax returns
• Management accounts and quarterly management reporting
• Monthly KPI reporting
• Bank liaison and reporting
• Service charge accounting
• VAT, ATED and payroll responsibilities
• Various reconciliations and rent collection
• Work with Sage and Xero
• Liaise with advisors on ad hoc projects and restructuring
• Liaise with Property Manager re property and tenant issues

This Financial Controller / Head of Finance role will require a qualified accountant, ideally from the Property sector, keen to work in a long term role in a small successful company in NW London.
