Financial Controller

Our client are a well established international logistics company. Due to internal promotion they are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join them in a role where you will take ownership of the financial health of the company as well as supporting the strategic decision making process duties will include:-

• Manage a team of 6 staff
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements
• Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and insightful commentary
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and lead the audit process
• Critically assess current processes and procedures and implement improvements
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
• Support strategic decision making by providing in depth financial analysis and guidance

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with experience of leading a team, strong financial control experience will be key to your success in this role
