Financial Controller

Reed Finance are delighted to be working with our client to appoint a Financial Controller.  Reporting directly to the Director, the Financial Controller will run the day-to-day operations for the finance function and team.

This is an opportunity an existing Financial Controller / Head of Finance, or a Finance Manager or a deputy Financial Controller looking to step up. You will drive performance and ensure deadlines are met.

Brief overview of key responsibilities.

• Ensure timely and accurate month end reporting pack to board
• Lead the finance team to meet all key objectives
• Budget, Forecasting, Cashflow
• Work with Director to oversee all commercial agreements such as insurances
• Key contact for Banks, Insurers and auditors
• Year end and stat accounting
• Board pack and presentation

Requirements.

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
• Have held a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role for minimum of 3 years
• Strong team leadership skills
• Strong systems skills
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• SME industry background advantageous
• Comfortable in an on-site setting at least 4 days per week

Financial Package;

• Base salary C£70,000- £75,000 p/a
• 25 days annual leave plus BH
