Due to growth, an acquisitive business based on the outskirts of Newcastle is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. This is fantastic opportunity join a dynamic team as the business continues to grow.

The Role
The Financial Controller's duties will include:

Lead month-end processes, ensuring accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting.
Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly financial operations, driving improvements in process efficiency, accuracy, and use of technology.
Ensure robust financial controls and risk management.
Manage year end processes and liaise with auditors.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial modelling projects.
Act as a business partner, working closely with key stakeholders across the business.

The Person
The requirements for the Financial Controller role are:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Experience of managing and leading a team.
Experience of managing a month end process
Strong communicator with the ability to engage both financial and non-financial stakeholders
