Financial Controller - Wrexham - £80,000 to £90,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

A leading manufacturer based in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take a hands-on, strategic finance leadership role. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a qualified finance professional to step into a pivotal position within a global organisation. You'll be responsible for the full spectrum of financial control - from leading the annual budget process and monthly forecasts, to managing statutory reporting, compliance with US GAAP and SOX, and driving improvements in FP&A processes. You'll also oversee monthly consolidation and reporting for the business and provide essential input on tax and audit matters.

This role requires a UK qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with at solid experience in financial control, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX, and complex reporting structures is essential, along with a proven ability to influence at leadership level.
