Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes by collaborating closely with department heads to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies through diligent monitoring and reporting.
• Coordinate external audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.

What the successful candidate will bring

• Fully qualified accountant
• Experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role within a medium or large organisation.
• Proven ability to prepare complex financial statements and manage end-to-end budgeting processes with accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels across different departments.
