Financial Controller

As their first finance hire, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the function, partnering directly with the founder and leadership team to drive strategic growth and operational performance.

• Full ownership of the finance function-setting up systems, processes, and controls from the ground up

• Building monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering

• Driving commercial insight into sales, margin performance, stock, and supply chain efficiency

• Acting as a strategic partner to the founder and non-exec board bringing financial rigour to decision making

• Leading the year-end process, audit, and external stakeholder reporting (banks, investors, suppliers)

• Supporting future funding rounds, new product launches and international growth plans

• Recruiting and developing a small team as the function scales

• Strong commercial acumen and confidence advising founder-led leadership teams

• Strong systems experience; confident implementing tools and processes
