Financial Controller

My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join a high-impact organisation to lead and improve the finance team. • Lead all aspects of financial operations including reporting, treasury, tax compliance, and audit.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly and annual closings in line with UK GAAP and group policies.
• Act as a key business partner to senior leadership and global stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial controls, systems, and processes.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Oversee statutory accounts, payroll review, and insurance coordination.
• Play a pivotal role in an ERP upgrade.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong UK operational experience.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar leadership role in a mid sized or large organisation .
• Expertise in financial reporting, audit, and compliance in a multi-currency environment.
• Strong Excel and systems skills, ERP implementation experience is a plus.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
