Financial Controller

Fin Search are recruiting a Financial Controller on a permanent basis for a well performing and reputable professional services business based in Leeds.

This business is operating a hybrid working model - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant looking for a staff management role in a growing business with scope to progress.

Reporting in to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the management of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to include monthly management accounts.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, ensuring balance sheet reconciliations, regulatory reporting and financial statements are accurate, developing budgets and forecasts, cashflow management and presenting reports to senior stakeholders within the business.

This position will also have a key focus of training, sharing knowledge, motivating and developing team members and ensuring best working practices.

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified
• Be a technically strong accountant with extensive reporting experience
• Have strong staff management skills
• Be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills
