Our client, a rapidly scaling Influencer Marketing agency based in the buzzing West End of London, is on the hunt for a Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. This is a newly created position — a rare opportunity to shape the financial future of an exciting business from the ground up.

With 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, this hybrid setup offers the perfect balance of collaboration and flexibility.

As the agency continues its impressive growth — including new acquisitions and expanding service lines — you’ll take ownership of financial operations, work hand-in-hand with leadership, and play a vital role in shaping strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the end-to-end financial management of the agency and its recent acquisitions.
• Own the production of monthly management accounts and forecasting cycles.
• Track performance against KPIs and drive accountability across the business.
• Analyse and optimise profit margins, taking proactive steps to hit targets.
• Partner with the leadership team to guide the business roadmap and strategic goals.
• Use data to uncover growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure best-in-class financial governance, managing cashflow and working capital.
• Oversee compliance including annual returns, R&D claims, corporation tax, and VAT.

What You’ll Bring:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or finalist) with proven experience as a Financial Controller.
• At least 2 years in a digital marketing or creative agency environment.
• Strong understanding of project-based revenue recognition.
• Experience within an eCommerce or D2C business model is a major plus.
• Familiarity with Certinia and PowerBI is highly desirable.
• A track record of enabling and supporting high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive profitability alongside client and delivery teams.
• Experience managing a small finance team in a fast-paced agency.
• Calm under pressure with razor-sharp organisational skills.
• A strategic thinker who’s hands-on, adaptable, and thrives in change.
• Expert in Excel and confident communicating at all levels of the business.
