Financial Controller

JHE & Partners are excited to be working with a fantastic business, not far from Brighouse, who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This is the number 1 in finance, playing a key role in the Senior Leadership Team and will report directly to the Managing Director. We are looking for someone with energy and a real desire to get into all aspects of finance. This is a "hands on" role and requires someone who is adaptable and happy to both report to the board, produce analysis and get involved in exciting projects, as well as handle the day to day accounting.

Key duties will include:

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Month end processing and reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow management
• Production of analysis and reports to support strategic decision making
• Liaising with external stakeholders including auditors, banks etc.
• Business partnering with all departments to aid management through accurate MI and KPI analysis
• Drive continuous improvement

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge. Advanced Excel skills as well as being confident with finance systems is important, as is the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels in the business.
