Main Duties:

As a Financial Controller, your primary duties include:

• Take full ownership and responsibility for ensuring financial data, analysis, and reporting are accurate and delivered in a timely manner, including key information required for board meetings.
• Manage working capital and cash flow forecasting, collaborating with Banking, Credit Control, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Supervise the Projects and Systems team to enhance and maintain IT systems within the finance function, working closely with the Business Systems team to ensure seamless financial integration across operational business systems.
• Oversee the financial management of two of our key subsidiaries including annual budget reviews, monthly financial reporting, year-end statutory accounts, and financial modelling for lender requirements.
• Direct the Payroll Department, ensuring the implementation of a strategic payroll approach that supports the organisation’s goals, improves payroll processes, ensures regulatory compliance, and enhances overall operational efficiency.

Location / Office / Culture

This is a really flexible, hybrid working role with offices located in Droitwich. This business usually operates with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This role offers you the opportunity to become part of a great team.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Experience in financial control
