I’m currently recruiting for a fantastic Financial Controller opportunity with a successful, internationally connected consumer goods business based in Leicestershire. This is a key leadership role where you’ll take full ownership of the finance function and play a central part in driving performance across the business.

Reporting directly into the MD and working closely with senior leadership (including overseas stakeholders), you’ll lead a small, capable team, and get stuck into everything from commercial forecasting to cost control, cashflow, and stock management. There’s a real mix of strategic input and hands-on involvement, so it suits someone who enjoys variety and impact.

This is the No.1 finance role within the business division in the UK, and a brilliant step if you’re looking to move towards an FD position in the future.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the UK finance team and owning all reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Working closely with the international offices on group reporting and performance insight
• Managing cashflow, financial controls, and stock forecasting
• Supporting product development and R&D with data-driven decisions
• Taking the lead on cost control and driving commercial efficiencies
• Managing relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and insurers
