An opportunity has arisen for a qualified finance professional to take on a broad and impactful role as Financial Controller. This position offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to operational strategy, and lead a small team across key business functions.

Reporting to the Group CEO, you?ll oversee the performance of the finance department and day to day operations. It?s a role suited to someone who enjoys being embedded in the wider workings of a business and driving improvements across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements

• Monitor cash flow, analyse trends, and support strategic forecasting

• Manage and develop finance team members, ensuring clear responsibilities and high performance

• Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls

• Oversee budgeting processes and identify opportunities for cost savings

• Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

• Provide timely financial insight and reporting to senior stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified (newly qualified or with a few years post-qualification experience)

• Experience managing or guiding a small team

• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools advantageous

• Good understanding of IFRS

• Confident communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
