Financial Controller - Hospitality Sector

Are you a qualified Finance Controller with a strong background in the hospitality sector? Do you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and bring a sharp eye for data and detail? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We’re working with a well-established hospitality group based near Richmond, London, currently looking to appoint a hands-on and commercially minded Finance Controller to help steer the business through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Own month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support commercial decisions with meaningful financial insights and analysis
• Work closely with operational teams to optimise financial performance
• Oversee compliance, internal controls, and risk management
• Present financial reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

• Hospitality sector experience is essential (multi-site preferred)
• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)
• Strong financial analysis, data manipulation, and reporting skills
• Comfortable working with large data sets and financial systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar)
• Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
