Financial Controller

Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting a growing professional services organisation to recruit for a part-time Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support a portfolio of client accounts. This is a hands-on role combining financial leadership, strategic input, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all core finance operations: reporting, payroll, VAT, budgeting, and compliance
• Produce monthly accounts, forecasts, and board reports
• Oversee client financials: budgeting, reporting, and governance
• Support business planning, pricing, and profitability analysis
• Lead and support the finance team; train non-finance staff

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 4+ years’ PQE
• Strong technical skills in reporting, VAT, and forecasting
• Experience in SMEs, professional services, or not-for-profit sectors
• Proficient in SAGE Line 50 and Excel
• Confident communicator and team player
