Position: Financial Controller
Location: Suffolk (on-site)
Salary: £80,000 – £100,000 per annum, depending on experience

A leading luxury hospitality business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee and drive financial operations for this unique and exclusive business. The role is based on-site in Suffolk and offers a rare opportunity to work with one of the most distinctive hospitality experiences in the UK.

The Opportunity:
This newly created role is suited to a highly capable, hands-on individual who thrives in a dynamic, multi-faceted environment. You will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, lead a small team, and play a key role in strengthening financial controls and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of operational finance across Balance Sheet and P&L
• Full ownership of the month-end process and preparation of management information
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns and audit processes
• Maintain clear and accurate financial reconciliations and reporting structures
• Mentor and support team members to ensure high-quality, timely financial outputs
• Act as the main point of contact for auditors and external advisors
• Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team on strategic projects

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in hospitality or hotel finance is essential
• Demonstrable strength in financial reporting, analysis, and systems improvement
• Experienced leader with excellent communication and team development skills
• Highly organised, commercially aware and resilient under pressure
• A full UK Driving Licence is required due to the rural location
