Main Duties:

As the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Become a key commercial leader in the team
• Leading the day-to-day operations of the finance department
• Producing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Overseeing year-end accounts preparation and managing external audit processes.
• Enhancing financial controls, compliance, and internal processes.
• Partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive cost control and margin improvement.
• Developing KPIs, dashboards, and financial reporting tools.
• Mentoring and managing a small finance team.
• Supporting ERP/system enhancements in line with business growth.
• Contributing strategic insights to the Finance Director and board for planning and investment.

Location / Office / Culture

This role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, based in Coventry. The business operates in a forward-thinking, dynamic environment and offers the opportunity to learn from exceptional leadership.

What We Are Looking For

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience across commercial and core finance
• A proactive and commercial mindset with strong leadership and communication skills.

Salary: £60,000 - £67,000 + Bonus + Benefits
