Financial Controller

This is a critical role in managing the accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports and complying with regulatory requirements and managing the financial accounting process for budgeting, actuals and forecasting.

Month end reporting (P&L & Balance sheet)

Managing financial submissions and monthly accruals

Preparation of quarterly and yearly financial statements

Manage Quarter/year end external audits

Lead implementation for any changes

Performance and reporting analysis

Balance sheet & Cashflow - presentation & analysis

Financial models

Budgeting

2 direct reports and the shared service centre

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a Financial Controller role, although assistant controllers or Snr Finance Managers will be considered.

You must be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE - ACA/ACCA or equivalent.

Proficient excel skills.

Extensive relevant work experience, preferably in consumer goods or manufacturing.

Experience using SAP S4 Hana or similar system.

Continuous improvement mindset and approach to processes.

Able to adapt in a dynamic and demanding growth environment.

Strong people leadership and development skills.

Job Offer

£58,000k Basic salary, 15% bonus (£8700 average) + car allowance £6900 per annum

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office/ 3 from home.
